What is an email extractor?

Any sufficiently large text dump contains email addresses — a contact form export, a mail thread, a scraped web page, a PDF converted to text — and pulling them out by hand or with a half-remembered regex is a waste of an afternoon. This tool scans the text and returns every address matching a proper email pattern, one per line, ready to paste into a spreadsheet or a mail-merge.

The matching follows the practical shape of real addresses — local part, at sign, domain, dot and a top-level domain of at least two letters — which filters out malformed fragments while catching the addresses you actually want. If the same address appears many times, the unique-only option collapses it to a single occurrence, which is usually what a mailing list needs; leave it off when you care about frequency.

Two honest limitations: the tool extracts addresses, it does not verify them — a syntactically valid address can still bounce. And obfuscated forms like name (at) domain dot com are invisible to any pattern match, by design.

Extraction runs entirely in your browser and the text never leaves your machine, so contact lists, customer conversations and internal threads stay on your side of the wire.
