Crop Image

Cropping is composition. It is how you turn a busy photo into a focused one: cut the distracting background, tighten a headshot, square up a scan that caught the edge of the desk, or extract a specific region from a screenshot. This tool gives you precise numeric control — X and Y coordinates for the crop's starting point, plus exact crop width and height — so you are not eyeballing a draggable box hoping the edges land where you want.

Numeric cropping shines for repetitive work. If you need to cut a 1080 × 1920 story image from the center of several photos, or extract the same header region from a batch of screenshots, entering the same numbers each time beats dragging a selection box each time. You can also choose between a rectangular and a circular crop shape; the circular option is a quick way to produce clean round avatars or profile pictures with transparent corners in formats that support transparency.

The crop is performed locally by your browser — the image never leaves your device, which is worth having when the material is personal or client-confidential. There is no queue and no upload wait; results appear as fast as your machine can process them.

One practical tip: X and Y measure from the top-left corner of the image, and the crop box cannot extend beyond the original dimensions — a crop starting at X 800 on a 1000-pixel-wide image can be at most 200 pixels wide. If your numbers exceed the bounds, reduce the offset or the crop size. For changing an image's overall size rather than trimming its edges, use the Resize tool instead.
